EARLY ACCESS FAQ

Yes, if you enjoy sandbox RPGs like Kenshi or Mount & Blade. The core systems — living world simulation, faction politics, dual crafting, stealth, and tactical combat — are all functional and deep. The Early Access price is the lowest it will ever be: Laps Games has committed to a price increase at 1.0 launch. The risk is that content is still limited to the Thareon region, with additional kingdoms, races, and the magic system coming in future updates.
Laps Games plans major updates approximately every 3–4 months during the Early Access period. Each major update adds new map areas, characters, environments, and systems. Minor patches for bug fixes and balance adjustments happen more frequently based on community feedback through Discord and Reddit.
Mod support is a high-priority goal for Laps Games. They plan to release a full asset editor and Steam Workshop integration. This feature is planned for a later stage of Early Access development, not the initial launch window.
Early Access Valorborn is missing: multiple additional kingdoms, non-human race selection (Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, and original races), the magic system, full limb targeting combat, additional starting background stories, and mod support tools. All of these are confirmed for the full 1.0 release.
Laps Games has not specified the exact price increase amount, but they have confirmed the Early Access price will be the lowest price point for the game. Buying during Early Access is the financially optimal time, particularly if you want to support the development team directly.
